Before I get flamed, let me say that this is a good car. It is relieable and economical. To me though the car is "normal, average, cookie cutter". It does not stand out and it is so popular that they all start to blend in and look alike. Even in the tuner marker the car is so popular that ...well I am borded with them. That is not to say that the car is bad at all. I simply prefer different. I would choose the Mazda Speed 3 or VW Golf/Fox instead.
