Southwest Airlines was founded in 1971 in Texas and specialized in the short-haul market. Today Southwest Airlines operates over 300 aircraft throughout the United States.

For all of its problems, I would have to say I still get the best experience with SW. Usually on time. Book online. No penalties. Easier to book awards. I sense it may be getting worse, but for now it is my go to airline. Be sure to load DING! And get the cheapest flights that dont get advertised otherwise.
