25 years after owning my first Intellivision, I still play it occasionally. Graphics were revolutionary for the time, and I liked the controls. There were always enough buttons to do lots of things, like shoot in different directions, or control submarines, or control a fleet of spacecraft. The best part about the system was the games, which were just plain FUN. They were simple enough to learn how to play in a few minutes, and yet still interesting enough to keep me playing for 25 years. Even my kids, conditioned for years on flashy graphics and stereo sound, love to play because the games are fun.
