ALWAYS a Great idea! Watch for the trainers with the "my way or the highway" thinking. There is always more than one way to do something and still end with the same result. As Trebon said, make sure you are comfortable ~ if you aren't, rest assured, your dog won't be either. Also keep in mind that trainers (even myself) do not know EVERYTHING! Avoid the ones that think they know everything about your dog and start moving into non-training categories, ie. food, bedding, etc. Unfortunately, I see too many people that go with products that their trainers like, but don't necessarily work for THEIR dog. If you don't agree ~ challenge it!
