If you've paid any attention to the posts, you'd notice that the so-called "bellyachers" are new, potential clients struggling to establish a simple account. At one time E-Trade may have been the customer-oriented, easy to use brokerage you've grown so accustomed to, but somewhere along the line, they dropped the ball. Now, anyone who attempts to open an account or does, will have a nightmare of a time obtaining accounts, money, co-operation and just plain ol' customer satisfaction. This is the bulk of negative reviews, more than any other brokerage on this site, that Godawful E-trade, has received.

I hope you never need to withdraw any funds from E-Trade. Also been with Etrade for years. Never a problem until I tried to transfer funds recently. In my opinion, the worst review you can find on the internet probably understates the case.
