TCF Bank is the worst bank in the Chicago Area. They display one of the most predatory overdraft practices I've ever seen. You get a cash deposit and a check on the same day. Which one do you think they schose to credit first...that's right folks the check. When I asked why (since I adhered to the Terms and Conditions outlined in my account. I was told that cash deposits were posted AS A COURTESY TO ME but actually post 24 hours later!. Wow my own money posted as a favor to ME! That's insane itself. Let's also look at the fact that they need 24 hours to clear a CASH deposit. What are they checking the serial numbers on currency now?? Not only am I leaving TCF...I'm going to tell EVERYONE WHO WILL listen how truly AWFUL this Bank and it's business practices really are.
