Obama is surging a bit right now. His supporters are far more passionate than Clinton's (who seem more resigned to Clinton's inevitability than in love with her as a candidate), and we shouldn't underestimate the impact of having Oprah endorsing his campaign. While Hillary comes off as opportunistic and mean, Obama seems to genuinely inspire people. Whether this is enough to overcome his lack of experience to bring home the Democratic nomination remains to be seen.
I believe that the winner of the Democratic nomination will (deservedly) be our next President. After the spending, and torture, and incompetence, and war, and corruption of the current administration, my sense is that a functioning democracy such as ours will decide to give the other party a chance.
