I'm sorry you are "a former born-again" Christian. I understand what you are saying about charging. There is Biblical basis for the rapture of the church. The Bible refers to it as being caught away.

Wow! No offense but being a "Former" born again??? Apparently you had a bad experience somewhere along the line and that's a shame. It must have been from the same person that told you that there is no Rapture. It's true that the word "Rapture" isn't in the Bible but so it is with some of the other words that we talk about. The concept is there and it comes from the Greek word Harpadzo (I'm sure that I butchered that, but it is pronounced the way I spelled it) which means the great snatching away.
