Abercrombie & Fitch 1

Abercrombie and Fitch is racist. When I was 20, I applied for a job there. This was back in 1994. I'm 6ft tall with a tall and slender build. I'm now a physician. My intent isn't to brag but to prove a point. I interviewed at Banana Republic the same day and was hired instantly. The people at Abercrombie didn't even grant me an interview or call me back. When the guy gave me the application, he did so with so much apathy. After seeing the 60 minutes expose on Abercrombie, it didn't suprise me one bit. In retrospect, I should have realized it because there was not one person of color working in that store. Their ads are deliberately trying to market toward Caucasians. I stopped wearing Abercrombie a long time ago. But yes, it's obvious their goal is to market clothes toward white fraternity boys. Their clothes have very little style. I still shop at the Banana Republic in addition to Hugo Boss, and Gucci.

They are racist because they wouldn't interview your or call you back but another place did? People throw that word around so casually. Back when I was that age, I applied at places that didn't call me back or interview me either. I'm white, so what does that prove, that they didn't like my eye color?
