Radio Shack 1

I purchased a Sprint Phone and service and only planned to try out the first 10 days and then cancel so that I didn't get billed another 2 years. I payed the deposit and first month and the service was turned on and I bought a phone. What happens? I come back 9 days later to cancel and I spent maybe 30 minutes there in the store. I was assured by the sales associate (same one who sold it to me) that I'd receive a complete refund by mail, my deposit that is, and then there would be no more billing. What happens? I get a nice bill in the mail and then I was forced to commit... Why? Pretty sure the sales associate was pulling my leg and didn't want to take the hit on his commission. Been getting billed since then.... Last time I ever walked into a RadioShack. Their image is no longer what it used to be, to me.
