While Jesus is a true, historical character, most of the accomplishments attributed to him are a myth, and a juxtaposition of events pertaining to the lives of numerous prophets. Thus, he does not deserve such acclaim, but the mythology surrounding him does. His claim to fame is the product to the imagination of others.
