Barack Obama (Democrat) 1

Silverfox: "No one is going to be impressed by a person with absolutely zero foreign policy experience or knowledge"? Does a speech in Berlin qualify as experience? How Liberals can keep going back to this well  astounds me. Obama is a heartbeat ( Liberal Word)  :) away form becoming President, and all I hear is he's qualified because he was a community organizer and he's run an organized campaign.

Don't mind Fitman ~ as I hav etold him. unless he can come up with a "legitimate link", don't bother! My response is always: washingtompost.com ~ that will tell how individuals voted. HOWEVER, it will not comment on the SPECIAL VOTE that Obama was part of in saying that all Jews need to be blown off hte face of the earth ~ saw the video, but not sure of the link!!!

Wiseguy, you're quoting from my review of Sarah Palin, elsewhere. First, an observation: George W. Bush, as the former governor of Texas, had no foreign policy knowledge or experience either, and look what kind of trouble that got us into. See my review of Obama below as to why I think he's the better candidate. To see his foreign policy positions, view his website at http://www.barackobama.com/issues/foreignpolicy/. As to his foreign policy knowlege and experience, I'm not going to research this, but off the top of my head it includes: U.S. Senate, member of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee (tangentially related: also a member of the Senate Veterans' Affairs Committee); toured Iraq and other nations; one of the few Senators who voted against the resolution authorizing Bush to invade Iraq, correctly and presciently predicting the adverse consequences; Bachelor of Arts degree from Columbia University with a major in politcal science and a specialization in international relations; lived in Indonesia as a child from ages 6-10. All of this and more contributes to his broad world view and his position that we should cooperate and consult more with our (former) allies than under Bush and try to restore the respect other countries once had for us. Not to mention that his VP choice, Joe Biden, probably has more foreign policy knowledge and experience than anyone else in Congress. I'm sure Obama would bring Biden into any discussions concerning foreign affairs.

Your points are quite lame, and tiresome. Experience isn't all it's cracked up to be. Bill Clinton? Jimmy Carter? Both these clowns had " foreign policy experience" or did they? Plenty of people have/had "experience"...and they sucked. Obama kept telling everybody during the primary's that his judgment overruled his lack of experience. Now, suddenly...it doesnt? You think Obama's a better candidate because he is a LIBERAL. quit lying to yourself, and insulting the rest of us. I don't subscribe to a Liberal foreign policy, or Liberal anything for that matter, its that simple. Left Wing Liberal Diplomacy is dangerous to America IMO. That is the plain truth.

ALL of Obamas crap that he spews is written for him. Do you people not understand that? He has no clue and I pray that things will in the end come out the way they should and we do not have a president elected that has no respect for anything american. Come on people we are in America and we are Americans. If he doesnt have respect for what this country was founded on and the flag that represents that then he needs to go elsewhere along with all of you other anti-american nuts. By electing "that one" we are sending this country straight into the hands of the terrorists because he has no clue on how to protect us.
