The son of a Kenyan father and American mother, Barack Obama has served as a State Senator from Illinois and a U.S. Senator. Along with Hillary Clinton, he is the favorite to win the 2008 Democratic nomination for President of the United States. Considered a rising star for the Democratic Party, Obama burst onto national prominence when he gave a keynote address at the 2004 Democratic Convention.

Obama is all show and lip-service. He'll say what everyone wants to hear just to get where he wants to go. We already know what Clinton is all about...no surprises. Unfortunately, the voting age starts at 18 and, though he may be getting them to vote, it's actually hurting it for the rest of us. Eighteen year olds are generally not mature enough to really read between the lines and only see and hear what he wants them to. They're going to push him into the primary and that's scary. And I'm ashamed to say that the women's vote is doing the same. It's sad that he has so many people so snowed.
