This is a solid Irish bar.  Back in the day there used to be a place called Tiber Creek next door that served yards of beer.  I had more than a few double header nights where we'd start at Tiber Creek, and end up at the Dubliner.  Good times.

That brings back some memories... LOL at the Tiber Creek / Irish Times combo. Great that Irish Times is still open. I gotta visit DC soon...

oh yeah, that was irish times not dubliner... did you ever wander out of tiber creek (accidentally) with one of those yard glasses? I've heard that it's happened before.

I tried once but they were very helpful about reminding me that I'd misplaced it under my jacket.

it certainly was weird how those things could get lodged under trench coats.
