The Bible says that "You shall not lie with a male as one lies with a female" 2

I have absolutely no problem with gay marriage, and I am also a Christian. The Bible may say "You shall not lie with a male as one lies with a female", but in the New Testament, the son of God himself says "Judge not, lest ye be judged".
I am a Christian, meaning I believe in the word of Christ. Are we going to follow outdated rules, or are we going to listen to the son of God himself who promotes love and tolerance? I myself found the concept of gay marriage somewhat repelling, but I have learnt that I was wrong, and that tolerance of this issue is the way forward.

u just totally contradicted yourself.asking if we should follow these outdated rules...then going on to say to listen to "the son of god himself who promotes loves and tolerance", which wouldnt they be the same thing...so if we dont have to follow "rules" about gay marriage then that also means we can commit adultery,steal, cheat, lie and murder?yah that makes sense..

I didn't contradict myself. The 'old rules' are part of the Old Testament, and Jesus' teachings are part of the New Testament, which, as Christians, we are meant to follow.
