The Castro is now known as the home of the G/L/TG community in San Francisco (the previous home was the Polk Street Gulch). It's a lively place.

Folks who aren't scared half to death of the GAY AGENDER will find the CASTRO THEATER very entertaining. It's an old time movie palace that's been restored to its former glory, pipe organ and all.
