Romney is probably the most logical choice at this point. People already know who he is, and he has a lot of supporters. He is more conservative than McCain, which I like, and I'm sure that most Republicans like as well. Whether that really translates into more votes or not is doubtful, as most Republicans will already be voting for McCain anyway, and most (although certainly not all) independents tend to be more middle of the road.
