Authority 1

I purchased Authority Liver treats, my dog a Jack Russell Terrier is very healthy and has no known trouble, I started giving him these treats on a small amount basis, usually 2 a night, he began developing this vomiting in the morning, I stopped giving it to him to find out what was causing this, so I stopped treats one at a time, then a week later re-introduced it into his normal treat time. the results were the same, he would vomit in the morning after eating this. no other treats or food induce these syptoms. I just wanted to pass this along to others as I don't want them to loose a pet, a friend!

I realize this comment is coming almost a year after the first post. Oh well.
My dog (half Lab/half Grt. Pyrenese) ate it if mixed with real chicken or beef. Alone....no way. He vomited alot like the Jack Russell Terrier above. We weren't sure what caused it but eventually figured it out. Also, the Authority dog biscuits (Healthy Biscuits) have menadione in them which are alledged to cause liver damage. I didn't read that label first! Shame on me. Anyway, he wouldn't eat those unless he was just really hungry. Again, he vomited each time. I won't buy this product anymore. In fact, any product with as much grain or menadione in it is off limits for good. Wish I was rich and he could eat steak and chicken all the time. So, Authority gets a "No Go" from me and my dog.
