Kmart 1

I visited the KMART in Waterford Michigan in Feb 2008. I brought a pair of slack to the cashier to purchase. The slacks were taken away from me and I was told that I could not pourchase them. I had cash in hand and I was ready to pay. I was given no explanation. I called complaint line and was told that someone wouid contact me within 24 hours. No one called. I called again and finally a manager called to tell me that she would call me back and tell me why I could not but the pants. She never called me back. I wrote to complaint line and got a form letter response. If I pick something out to buy that was for sale in a store why would the employees ta KMart take it away from me and tell that I could not buy it? Is this even legal? Everyone that I have been able to tell about this knows and will think twice before shopping there again!

I went into the Waterford Kmarts and they had shoes on sale. I like this specific brand and they were buy one pair and get the other pair 50% off. I go up to the cashier and she rings both pair up and they both come up full price. I told her that there are signs all over (no fine print) that states what I said above. She proceeds to get the Manager (a grumpy old woman) who said no, it doesn't mean that pair. I said there are signs all over the shoe dept that states this. She then says nastily, I said that specific shoe is NOT INCLUDED. Really rude. So the cashier asked me if I wanted either pair. I said actually NO, and I won't be back. I came home and called Kmart corp. They were suppose to call me back. Nobody did. I'm still waiting for their response. This was over two weeks ago.
