Of the major Republican candidates who stayed in the race for a while, I think Huckabee was by far the best. He is charasmatic, and unlike many of the candidates, he has real experience in an executive branch of government. He also wasn't afraid to say where he stood on issues. With Huckabee, it seemed like you could at least believe what he said. In addition, I feel that one major advantage he had over McCain was age. At 52, Huckabee isn't a senior citizen like McCain.
