Abercrombie & Fitch

I actually don't mind Abercrombie; I like their perfume, and the atmosphere is interesting and different. The style of clothes is also pretty close to my taste (I generally shop at places like AE and Pacsun, as well as cheaper places like Kohl's and Wal Mart, lol). What I don't like, however, is that they sell sex to 15 year olds and may be guilty of discrimination against certain groups of people. My friend and I did an experiment at our local Abercrombie and Fitch store. We went in at the same time. I am about a size 22, and she is about a size 4, and what we found interesting was that the salespeople greeted...my friend. Just her. I mean they were really on top of her, asking her what she was looking for and all that. I hadn't really shopped at Abercrombie before, so I was a little confused, until we started looking at some of the clothes, and then we realized that the sizes were completely different than normal sizes in most stores. First of all, if I can recall, they have xs, s, m, and l. And the large, to be honest, looks like it would be labeled medium or even small in another store. Not to mention it is $70 for like a belt...lol. It's kind of sad, because I like the Abercrombie image and all that, but it makes me sad that they aim to exclude. Fashion should be for everyone; everyone deserves to feel sexy and gorgeous.
