Your calling a dog food bad because of it's availability at a Farm Supply Store??? You must be kidding. Yet another year and I still have a pair of the healthiest most full of life Danes, and they still are on the Naturals lamb and rice. I will be happy each and every time I go to our local "Farm Supply Store" to get my next bag for them. This food continues to perform VERY well, my dogs love it and are very healthy. What more can you ask, oh yea, and it still saves me $40 a month, that's a new LCD TV in just two years.... :)

Agree... I think the Diamond Naturals (which is what I feed my 2 Chi's, mixed with some Innova are on) is an alright dog food. I do Not feel it is one of the persay BEST, but I personally do Not feel its persay one of the WORST either. A Medeoker... I see Nothing wrong at getting it or another brand at a Farm supply store. I think it's availability is GREAT because of that. Not Everyone can drive Miles on end for a dog food... The economy is getting tight, and peeps are doing what they have to, ya know??? God bless.

I beg to differ. Feed stores make their living selling food for animals that are in turn the living of ten of thousands of people in this country alone. The suburban pet boutiques with their trendy foods is where you finbd the ad campaigns and high dollar items that provide no better nutrition than MOST of the Diamond products. They make some cheap foods, yes, there will always be people who buy on price alone and thats capitalism. Doesn't mean we have to buy it...they wouldn't make it if there wasn't demand. Let's also not foget that not all grains are bad...it is more the amounts, types, preparation and the presence of balance in almost all cases that makes the difference. It is true that many foods use corn as a base and first ingredient and thats just cheap....but organ meats have the highest levels of nutrients, some of which are vital and can only be found in certain organs. Look up the nutritional information of liver meat of any of the animals commonly used for dog food, lots of good stuff to learn about in the liver. I digress, EXERCISE is also so easily forgotten. Most American pets, like most Americans are Spolied Lazy. A good walk would do us all wonders!!! God bless all who care enough about animals to be here and reading!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Diamond is a VERY HIGH GRAIN dog food with controversial fillers lots of them. Very low in meat content, Egg Product not whole Egg used and that's not good at all. Beet Pulp is used and it's another bad product and has no place in dog food. Beet Pulp is commonly known to cause many issues in dogs like allergies and ear infections. There are much better choices than this dog food it's better than Old Roy, but doesn't compare to Wellness or EVO or so many other choices. NOT Recommended ! Not sure where you're from and don't really care but your comment about Americans was that of a jerk.
