Born in 1959, Stephen Patrick Morrissey was lead singer for the British Indie band "The Smiths" in the 1980's, teaming with guitarist Johnny Marr. After the Smiths broke up, Morrissey launched a succcessful solo career.

 


Limpin' Trenchfoot

One of a long line of self pitying bedsitting nerds who decided his purpose in life is to inflict his 6th form poetry on an unsuspecting public. I'm not sure quite why he has any public profile as his albums dont excatly sell by the truckload. Viz The Smiths, their finest moments are all down to Johnny Marr's guitar playing and Andy Rourke's basslines. I'm intrigued to know why peddlers of introspective self pity like Morrisey, Thom Yorke etc are so revered. Strange times we live in.
