Suntrust is a horrible bank to bank with. They are all over Vanderbilt campus and set up stands outside the freshman doors during move in and convince every kid to bank with them. Basically they get every student to bank with them and then take advantage of the fact that they are students with little money. If they see that you are going to over withdraw... even by a couple cents, the will process the higher transactions first, so that all the little transactions will cause -35 fees each time.
I made a mistake and took out too much money, 50cents to be exact, but they somehow managed to start charging me fees before I had ever done so!?!?!? I ended up being charged $140. I then deposited CASH to bring my balance up to a positive amount and the next day I was charged another fee!?!?!?!? IT makes no sense.
They don't care about losing costumers because they know they will just get the next group of freshman.
