i had the paragrad copper T IUD inserted 3 weeks ago. the insertion was painful in my experience. Plus the doctors had so much trouble inserting it because my cervix was just not cooperating. I had to go back the next day to re-do the insertion after they gave me a pill to take that night to soften i guess my cervix.
I spotted for 3 days then bled for 12 days. Bleeding was not heavy and i did not experience any cramping at all.
I was hesitant of getting the IUD at first because of all the reviews i read online. But I thought to myself that every women are different and i will not lose anything to give it a try and see how it will work out for me. So far it has been great.
