And I thought that I had reached the final boundaries of experimental music with Einstuerzende Neubauten in the mid-eighties. But there you go, a vast untamed hinterland is out there in places not even Einstuerzende Neubauten went. You live and learn.
This is noise music at its most uncompromising and searing. I cannot say that I listen to this very often or for very long stretches at a time, but when I do, it certainly captures my attention and alters my mood. In fact, it feels kind of like being scrubbed clean on the inside with a wire brush.
You can also use it to annoy your neighbors or rid the party of those last few hangers on.
Ultimately, it is difficult for me to rate this as I have heard such a small subset of the total output of this artist (I believe over 300 CDs). I cannot say I fully understand it or appreciate it, but it has its moments for me, and I have my moments for it.
