04/01/2008 | Thank you for making my point. The Subject is lying to the American public, not errors in judgement. However, errors in judgement isn't exactly Bush's strong hand either. Both administrations had evidence of Al Qaida's plots against America. But only one administration has spent 5 years, billions of dollars and risked hundreds of thousands of American lives knowingly looking for the perpetrators in the wrong country. For all of his sincerity in finding the real killers, Bush might as well be golfing with OJ Simpson. Bush says he's in Iraq fighting terrorism, but his inner circle of advisors like Cheney, Rumsfeld and Powell were men who formed the inner circle of his father's administration and left power in frustration at the unfinished business of Iraq in 1991. |

03/29/2008 | Again, as I've said, I DON'T KNOW if they were ever there or not ~ and guess what my friend, neither do you. I am not skirting ANY issue ~ I I said Bush made a mistake (you must've missed that part) BUT so did Clinton. They go hand and hand. So what am I not answering? |

03/29/2008 | Again you employ the old spin doctors ploy of skirting the question at hand, instead making well worn points from the briefing book. One question though, just where did the WMDs end up? You dont suppose they are being stored in Mohammer Quadaffis Rec Room, do you? Discreetly moved after 6:00 p.m., when the CIA had the surveillance satelitte turned off for the evening. |

03/29/2008 | If you further dig, you will find that Clintons' administrators told the Bush administrators about the WMD. Billary backed it up by signing to go to war. She was given all the info (as were all the Senators), that Bush was privy to and they also believed it was a threat. Then, after things weren't working out so well, Billary says ~ we were misled! Weren't they given the same documentation as Bush was? And oh, by the way, let's give Saddam three weeks notice that we will coming in to look for WMD. Were they originally there? I don't know. Maybe, maybe not. BUT, I am not saying he didn't make a mistake ~ but don't say Clinton didn't either. PS ~ the miniseries, never saw it but now that you said that, I think I would like to! |

03/28/2008 | I saw the mini-series too. You are reaching. There is a big difference. You are arguing the ineffectiveness of the American military/intellegence infrastructure during the Clinton Adminstration (the same criticism that could levelled at the bookend Bush Administrations as well by the way). That's not about the President knowingly telling lies that costs lives. George W. took the case to the American people that the war in Iraq was justified to oust a dictator who had WMD's that he was planning to use (which wasn't the case) and that he was directly aiding the perpetrators of 9-11 (which wasn't the case). And he went further and said that America had to trust him that he had irrefutable evidence of it (which wasn't the case). And after five years, there is no way out of the mess. That's the cost of his lies. |

03/27/2008 | Well, to begin with, in 1993 Clinton swore to hunt sown and punish those responsible for the attack on the WTC ~ knowing who was responsible, nothing was done. In 1995 there was the bombing in Saudi Arabia, again the promise, again nothing done. In 1996, the Kobar (sorry about spelling) Towers in Saudi Arabia ~ again, knowing and doing nothing. The 1998 Embassy in (I believe) Africa and in 2000, the USS Cole. He knew ~ and SAID he knew ~ who was responsible, but did nothing. Do you think that NOT doing anything is better than DOING something? All the intel that Bush received regarding Osama Bin Laden came from the Clinton administration. Clinton even had advise from his top political advisor (Dick Morris), but he ignored facts..all of which directly led up to 9/11 and close to 3,000 US citizens dead. So, is lying by ommision the same as lying? |

03/27/2008 | And how exactly was it a direct result of a lie told by the President? |

03/27/2008 | I disagree with ya bud ~ USS Cole happened on Clintons watch! |
