I remember the '50s battle cry (heard from the USA and the USSR): "Our Nazi scientists are better than your Nazi scientists!"

UPDATE:

The post war hiring of nazi scientists by the US and USSR is no 'conspiracy theory'. It's an acknowledged fact.
