I'm a sucker for muscle cars, I admit. But as far as Corvettes are concerned the 1967 Corvette Stingray L88 with the single four-barrel Holley carburetor was tops! The car displaced about 560 horsepower at about 6000 rpm! Combine this engine with a fairly light frame (as muscle cars go), this Corvette typified the muscle car era, but it is a standard for which American sports cars are often judged today!
