Beside being very good and captivating, this movie told me something else.
Sometimes the movies everyone (both the public and the critics) talks about can be very good. That actually is rather rare today, though.
I avoided this movie for a long time because I was thinking is overrated.
If the DVD wasn't borrowed - since about a year, and if you read this please bring it back :), I would watch it every now and then.
Loved the scene when they start singing the Marseillaise "over" the German officers.
