Resentment

When people find themselves in a full-blown state of bitterness or rebellion, the are bearing the fruit of a tiny seed called resentment. Not to uproot resentment when it first appears is to make probable a more serious bout with bitterness down the road.

this has been hard the last few years. maybe those years of experiences that have not always been good. there have been certain times of resentment. like having to start all over again after my spouses job loss after 23 years feeling like at our age why this now? resentment of how some take delight in gossip and shunning another person for unfair reasons. sometimes I have to fight real hard not to feel resentment about some situations thrown at us. I hate to sound bitter. because i try and remember what good things I have had in my life that outnumbers the bad. Just getting past that resentments is sometimes hard.
