Crescent Jewelers 3

Feb 14 my husband went to crescent jewelers and bought me an anniversary band. Later on that night he suprised me with it but of course he didn't get the right size so I had to take it back the next day to have it sized. To my surprise they said it would take 2-3 wks to get it. Which totally shocked me cause I've never heard of it taking that long to size a ring. After dropping it off I had talked to my sister and she had told me to be careful cause some jewelry stores swap diamonds for cubic zirconia's. My mouth completly dropped and from then on was very worried. Well a couple of weeks passed and nothing so I called and the girl told me it might take a few more wks. I just about flipped out when she said that. I kind of started being really crazy with her and I apologized cause I understood that it wasn't her fault. But I had explained to her that my 1st payment would come before I even had my ring. Which I thought that was RIDICULOUS. So to make a long story short(more like a horror story). I ended up getting my ring a wk later and guess what....The "DIAMOND" was chipped on the lower right side. Right where the prong is located. So what do you think started going through my mind? Yup, my sister was right they swapped my ring. The only thing was I didn't notice it till the next day in the light. So I called the store and I got the rudest girl ever. I told her that I had just picked up my ring and noticed that it had a chip on the corner. She started with attitude and said I would need to bring in the ring so they can make sure it wasn't and inclusion. I was like duh, what do you think I'm just gonna say send me a new ring. I told her you could feel the chip and see it. It looked disgusting. Well, we took it in they said they would send it to the warranty dept again and wait another 3 wks. I asked her if they could hurry it up or do something with my payment cause that wasn't right. Well she gave me the managers card and I spoke with him he said he would get the same ring from one of the other stores near by. I told my husband about the situation and lets just say he took care of the situation and then some. The rings that the manager picked were hideous. One had 3 black inclusions that you couldn't even see and the other had another inclusion right in the middle. We were lucky cause he pointed them out!(I think because he thought my man would kick his ass if we were to notice later on). Well needless to say the manager redeemed himself I was able to pick a better quality ring (colorless f )which was way better than the one my husband picked and our payment was only $10 more and we got no interest for 18 mths plus we got an additional 20% off the sale price so we only ended up paying a little more for the ring. Sometimes you have to be as pushy and bossy as those managers. Or it could be that this manager was just a little weasle. It looked like my husband almost made him cry. And he was sweating like a pig. He had undone his tye. It's funny now I did kind of feel bad for him at the time but hey it's like my husband say's "it's our hard earned money that's making those payments not his!"

nobody gets paid enough to have to put up with people like you and your husband. To think that you'd go so low as to resort to physical violence is simply pathetic. Lucky he didn't call the police on you.
