Les Feldick hosts "Through the Bible."

Les Feldick 5

Les never claims to "know" it all; in fact, he often states that he "may be wrong", but he's merely telling us what "he believes" but that we have to form our own opinion by "reading what's in the Book". That's his sole purpose for teaching...to get us to "study what's in the Book". Once we're doing that, regardless of whether it's through Les or not, then it's up to the Holy Spirit, when He knows it's time...and that time is different for each of us, to open our eyes and reveal the meanings of the many "secrets" or "mysteries" that are spoken of in the Bible. Israel was a very religious nation, yet most of them failed to "see" (understand) that Christ was their Messiah. Furthermore, even the apostles who recognized Him, didn't understand. Christ TOLD them several times that He would be crucified, buried, & would be resurrected in 3 days; yet, they weren't at that tomb early that morning waiting for Him...because they didn't KNOW...they didn't understand. God wasn't ready to reveal these "mysteries" to even them. Why? As Les has explained, because God knew Jesus HAD to die for the atonement of our sins. That's the only way He could "buy us back" from Satan. Had Israel "understood" the secrets, they would not have had Him crucified. And though many Jews today are Christians, they can't all be converted because then there wouldn't be 144,000 left for the Tribulation.

Thanks, Les, for helping me to study my Bible giving the Holy Spirit a chance to "reveal the mysteries" to me through your teachings. For without the Spirit, your teachings would have been unheard...just as Christ's words to the disciples went unheard to them nearly 2000 years ago.

Regarding Mr. Feldick's teachings, he seems to place more trust in the Pauline Doctrine than he does the teachings of Jesus. Is this because under dispensational teaching which supposedly rightly divides the Word of God, Les uses the Pauline Doctrine as the divider. It sure sounds like it. As for me, I have always had a bit of trouble trying to understand Paul and I think that it may not be a Paul problem at all, but the translators of the bible back in the 1600's and earlier may be the problem. I have ran across two bibles and one article that address this problem and I thought that those of you who are steeped in the Pauline Doctrine may be interested. The article is a PDF file called http://l.b5z.net/i/u/6053592/i/Pauline_Corruption_o f_Biblical_Analysis.pdf You may find it interesting in that minor errors by translators have left a rather corrupted message by Paul. The two bibles that I have found seemed to be a more correct message of Pauline Doctrine and they are the Wesley Bible and the Green's LTV Bible. Unfortunately I tried to find a used Wesley Bible and I found out that he did not write one, but he did write a New Testament Bible and a Compilation of Wesley's Explanatory Notes on the Old Testament and Explanatory Notes on the New Testament. Unfortunately, they are somewhat hard to find and very expensive when you do find them. Anyway, I think that I may purchase a Green's LTV bible and read Paul's writings to see how they stack up against Paul's writings in the KJV. Gordon

Paul is the only one that Jesus gave the revelation to which is the mystery of this age of grace that had not been known but had been hid in the mind of God. And Les himself has always said he doesn't put Paul above Jesus. Jesus is the one giving Paul this revelation that is written in the bible. He didn't write it himself, he wrote what the Lord of Glory told him to write. Les says Paul's message is no more important than Moses' message but Paul's is for gentiles in the age of grace and Moses gave the law to the nation of Israel. Also Jesus came to earth to fulfil the promises He made to ISRAEL. He was not sent to or for GENTILES. Jesus wrote the whole bible. He is God so if you think Les makes to much of Paul then you are saying he makes to much of God's word.

Paul is not writing his own opinion he is writing the message he received from Jesus. He received it from the risen Savior after he went back to glory. His words ARE from Jesus. His epistles are scripture just as what is written in red. The KJV is the word of God. It is not a translation problem it is a belief problem.
