This food is QUALITY! I've had my beagle on Canidae, Core, Evo, and now Orijen. Let me tell you... there is NO comparison! This is the best food out there! Those other foods I mentioned are great too, but I haven't seen results like this from any of the foods but Orijen. My beagles coat is EXTREMELY soft and shiny which is funny because she has always had a pretty rough coat since she was a puppy. She doesn't get that gook in her eyes anymore and even though I was afraid that her energy would sky rocket because of all the protein, it really hasn't. She has a very healthy amount of energy. When I take her for walks or to the dog park, she can just keep going and going but as soon as we get home, she is very calm and ready to cuddle. She is the best looking beagle we have seen (but we just might be a little biased)! Perfect weight, no belly, and VERY stong muscles. I really cannot say enough about this food.... I am sold on it! I highly recommend giving it a try. Yes, it is expensive, but honestly, you don't have to feed that much because of all the protein. Our beagle is almost 2 years old and we feed her 3/4 of a cup a day (with treats throughout the day) and that is plenty!
