Henry Hyde is best known nationally as one of the House Managers during the Clinton impeachment. Ironic that the people who went after Clinton the most vigorously were also the ones who carried on their own affairs in private. Here's a guy who attributed an affair he had with a woman when he was in his forties to youthful indiscretions! I personally don't care much about a politicians personal sex life, but it says a lot about the guy that he would try to justify his actions in light of the fact that he was going after Clinton. Youthful indiscretion? How about a mid-life crisis! A few extra stars because he's actually a thoughtful Congressman who's reasonable and independent-minded. Hyde does a good job of representing his Chicago constituents, so at least he's effective.
