Detriot (a notorious tough, working-class town) has had its share of good and bad teams. The Lions haven't had glory years since the 50's- but the Tigers, Pistions, and especially those Red Wings are conerstone franchises. . .Big D has to be low on this list. . .and damn of those late 80's Piston teams and Red Wing Cup-winners weren't great teams. . .
