End the War in Iraq

Removing American troops from harm's way in Iraq where the insurgency has killed over 1,700 American Servicemen and over 11,000 Iraqis.

The only option is victory. When we achieve it, then we leave. Not before. We invaded Europe to liberate it from the Nazis. When the job was finished, we came back home. And we invaded Japan to end the war and when we finished the job, we returned home. We went in Iraq to liberate it from the grips of Saddam Husein. When we finish the job, we will return home.

04/25/2008		In both those cases, the Allied invasion was actually an operation to drive the Germany and Japan out of the countries that they had already conquered and drive them back to their own countries. Once that was done, and they were defeated and disarmed, the allies left thousands of troops behind, and dictated the local political environment in occupied Japan and Germany for a long period. They didn't just win and go home. People are expecting the war to be won like a best of seven playoff series.
