Criticism of President Bush is due primarily to a personal, partisan hatred of the man

This line of thinking says that liberals hate Bush so much, they've lost the ability to actually judge the man on his programs and leadership, but instead let their personal hatred cloud their perspective.

As an independent, I am sick of both parties fighting over stupid stuff while the most important issues are left to deteriorate further. Bush happens to be sitting in that particular chair, so he's gonna catch hell. I've got just as much whoopass left in the can for Congress and some of my local elected officials, too. :)
