Could you change your avatar image? It's offensive. I'm not sure who the person depicted is but he's bleeding and that's gross. If you do not change the picture I will complain endlessly to site management. If they don't do what I want, I will declare the site unmoderated!!!

THAT was a little uncalled for Automatt! I'm not sure what all this crap is about, but I am disappointed.

LM, cheat one more time with multiple accounts and we'll see how unmoderated the site is.

Sounds like a threat, but hey, you're the boss. I have had an account open in February, and was so excited about it that my wife wanted to open an account too. Of course, since I have three stations in my house, all networked, any of them will show the same IP address. When my wife posted and I posted, you suspended my account for a few days until I explained this very situation. As a result, I asked my wife and any of my kids to not open accounts on RIA (kind of like discriminating, but again, you're toe boss). None of them are members of RIA after the "prohibition", so I only have one account. Now, it someone attempts to hack into RIA system and start trouble by creating an account using my personal information and a fake IP address that is identical to mine, what do you want me to do? Am i to be held accountable for RIA inability to prevent hacking into its system? So, I make a comment/review on an item presented to all reviewers, and when I express my concern for possible violations of privacy and suspicious activities by someone with a clear intent to harm my presence on this site, I get a warning. You seem displeased with me because I expose potential problems and wrong use of the features of RIA. Eventually, you will find a good excuse to kick me out. But it will not be because of any violations of the site rules.

Hey, didn't you have a list deleted? That would indicate otherwise, I think...

lmorovan commented 579 days ago.
numbah, I deleted the list because I agreed, it was not appropriate. Nobody asked me to do it, nobody made me do it, nobody other than myself did it.

One atheist coming to the defense of another, good on you Matt. I'd point out the difference between the two images and the effect they have, depending on which member uses it, but whats the point...

That is encouraging to hear that you took it down yourself. Thanks for the heads up.

LM, the hacking that you speak of was coming from the IP address associated with your computer. Perhaps someone broke into your home, booted up your computer, joined RateItAll, and awarded you thousands of helpful votes? I'm not going to rule it out, but it seems farfetched. Just in case, I would consider changing your locks.

How about, someone hacked into RIA system, mimicked my IP address, posted thousands of helpful votes to my account with the purpose of showing me guilty of opening multiple accounts and cause my account to be deleted for violation of the site rules? Of course, you are going to rule it our, because and admission would be very negative for the overall confidence in RIA. If I were you, I would suggest you make a complete check of your hardware and software.
