Joel Osteen 5

I think Joel Osteen is Great! he doesn't ask for money constantly like most people do, he asks one time..and one time only. His books are fabulous! They have helped alot. I don't see anything New Age, so some people say. There is nothing wrong with being positive. But there is something wrong with being negative. It's a shame to read alot of the garbage down below, however I've been saved almost all my life, & honestly...all the people that has even had the nerve to say they are a christian & write something negative about a man of God, should read their bible a little more, as God speaks against that. If you do nnot have the gift of discernment..then you really shouldn't say anything.

No question Osteen is great. But he is not a preacher of the Gospel. He uses the pulpit to promote teachings that are contradictory to the teachings of the Bible. He doesn't need to ask for money: his brainwashed congregation will pour out their wallets after listening to his deceiving messages of feel good without being good. Besides, his books are strongly pushed on his web site and any other ways possible. Indeed, people should read their Bibles and see the deceit and apostate messages Osteen teaches.

this is a comment page..thus people are giving thier opinions and whether you like it or not some are going to be negative...(as this will be) Joel is a great motivation speaker, but NOT a great preacher....no where in the bible does it tell us to go and put everyone in a postive uplifting mood...the bible does say to go and preach the Gospel (the good news of Jesus the Christ) listen to him with this in mind and you will even see he very rarely even mentions Jesus in any of his sermens.
