A small singles hitting guy who had a little pop and some speed. Had over 200 hits 4 years in a row. The outfield of Tobin, Jacobson, and Williams was one of the better outfields of the first half of the 20's, but all three eventually were sent to baseball's Siberia of the decade, the Red Sox.
