Socializr is an "Evite Killer" and tries to go after all the areas that Evite fails. There's a lot to like: first and foremost, the features are amazing. There's neat stuff like musical and musical embeds, send to phone, and hack together your own design. The site is also much faster than Evite, and without the advertising overkill. Finally, Socializr includes useful information in the outbound emails, so you don't need to click through to get the details.
The only part I found lacking was the UI. I don't find it as clean and simple as Evites. Also, I worry about Spam filters gobbling up Socializer invites. By now, most people have probably whitelisted Evite.com in their spam filter, not the same for Socializr.
I intend to keep using socializr - it's a good product, and it's good to support the little guy.
