i would rate it 4 - 4.5 stars if possible. I am not too particularly fond of bourbons, but its my favorite bourbon. Similar to Makers Mark but not as sweet, yet it is stronger, so it balances very well. milder tones of syrup, caramel, honey, vanilla, and nuts on the palate compared to Makers mark. It is surprisingly smooth for a 101 proof bourbon. I would say definately one of the "jewels of the south".
