depends on which "dive" you go into. I have been in those old creaky looking buildings and the food was awful as the building looked. other times these old mom and pop restaurants are really good. kind of like the best kept secret of great meal. agree that just because the place is called Moms does not gaurantee a terrific meal some moms are lousy cooks.
