Well, once again, someone has to define "offensive" for me. How is he offensive? Genghis impresses me as an old-line conservative...which is immeasurably preferable to the predictable neo-con variety...occasionally crusty but never nasty, and he's obviously a bright, witty man. He and I have had our differences in the past...I still am flabbergasted that he can blame Prohibition on "leftists"...and I'm not sure I understand his compulsion to rate every county in every state, but, then again, there are people who can't understand my obsession with Legs Diamond and 3rd-rate vampire movies. Generally speaking, his interests are wide-ranging, his political opinions can surprise me and I can even find myself agreeing with him on occasion, and what he writes always makes for fascinating, or funny, or informative, reading. Again, is he "offensive" because he has a definite opinion? If so, 99.9% of the people who contribute to the website must be "offensive" if that's the case.
