Pit Bull

reviewed by myspace-30849171

Pit Bulls are medium to large dogs (30-70 lbs.) classified as Terriers. The American pit bull terrier was developed in the 19th century by crossing Staffordshire bull terriers and an extinct fighting bulldog.

I'm sorry but they tend to snap. I would only have one of these if I was single or knew I would never have it around children or other animals...I don't want them hurt, but I don't want them around me

The whole "snapping" thing is total BS. Just b/c someone doesn't know enough about a dog's body language, doesn't mean the dog didn't give a warning.

sorry if you had a bad experience, but i agree with rottie girl, some dogs will snap in play, you wanna watch total body language not just one body part. In all, a very friendly breed.

You should not be scared of this breed it's there owners that are the bad ones. I have a Pit Bull and a 4 year old girl and they love eachother. They did not even grow up together. I got my Pit Bull at the pound because she was going to be put to sleep and she was only 3 years old. I love Pit Bulls and nobody is going to change my mind.
