when i sit here and read all these complaints about "citizens" stealing money it makes me sick. who started stealing money from who first? do you know why they call it an overdraft fee? Because YOU used more money then YOU had. Citizens bank did not go to the store and swipe that debit card, and they did not write that check that caused you to go negative. YOU did and when YOU do that there is a fee for doing it! have you not realized by this point that there is no such thing as "free" money? i have to notice all the comments relating to the high to low posting and that makes me just as sick. it does not matter how they post it if you use that thing called a ledger and wrote them in the order YOU did them you would know very well when you hit ZERO. Yes i said Ledger. remember that thing in High School that your Math teacher spoke of? you know right about when they went over that whole addition and subtraction thing. Funny addition, subtraction and a check ledger really do get along nicely. if you need the money maybe i can suggest that you allow all those little debit card purchases POST to the account. then go to the ATM request what you need until you get paid and only get one fee not 200.00 dollars. think about YOUR money a little wiser and surely you will realize that it really is not your typical bank.
BTW.. i do work for the bank and i will let you know that when you call us the nicer you are the better the conversation, and more likely the better the outcome for YOU. And please please please please stop calling it your checkings account. there is no "s" is checking!! FOR CRYING OUT LOUD!!
