From the peak of Spielberg's creative career, Jaws is superb in its simplicity. One of the most believing and realistic movies regarding the dangers of sharks in populated beach areas and resorts. Many have had second thoughts about going back in the water after this movie was released. One of the very few movies where I have witnessed a whole theater screaming in fear.
