I don't know why Orijen took off the warning notice re the bones on their website. It had all the information on there including the lot numbers. I don't think they are no different then any other dog food company..sorry, not buying it.

05/26/2008		This is my first time commenting on this site. I loved Orijen, but will not feed it again to my groups of dogs. I had a bag of the Oirjen senior and regular adult, both bags had about every other piece with a bone sticking out. I bought my bags from Petfood direct. I returned the UPC codes for a refund, and also sent them samples of kibbles from each bag with the bones. I have never bought a bag of the fish, so the bones really are in all the varietys, not only the fish. I worry about quality control when this happens.

05/10/2008		Its not just the one formula. I bought Orijen Puppy formula and the first two bags we went through were fine. But the most recent bag we bought we had to return, because there was large/ sharp bones all throughout the kibble. We went to exchange it (we read about the bad batch on a dog forum so we weren't that shocked), and before the exchange we opened a bag at the store. There was TONS of bones in it as well. We ended up having to switch brands =/

05/09/2008		From what I read about this one incident from one person, this was ONLY a problem involving the fish variety. IT HAD NOTHING to do with their main Adult or Puppy Varieties at all, so you are only doing YOUSELF A DISFAVOR by not trying it
