You cannot separate religion from politics, or politics from religion. Every politician is a religious person one way or the other to some extent, and every religious person is a politician, one way or the other to some extent. And, to the chagrin of many, our country was build on Judeo Christian values and morals. Denying this is denying the very nation we live in.
